الملخص

هدف البحث إلى رصد السمات العامة للبيوت الأثرية في مدينتي مسقط وصلالة في القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرين، والكشف عن أبرز المعالم المعمارية في مدينتي مسقط وصلالة، وإظهار أشهر البيوت الأثرية والقصور السلطانية؛ ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التاريخي. وأظهرت أبرز النتائج السمات العامة للبيوت الأثرية في مدينتي مسقط وصلالة في القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرينن المتمثلة بحجم البيت، وشكل الغرف، وطبيعة مواد البناء، وغير ذلك، وأظهرت أبرز التوصيات بضرورة إبرز السمات العامة للبيوت الأثرية في أنحاء سلطة عُمان كافة عن طريق إجراء برامج، وملتقيات، ومنتديات؛ لتعزيز استدامة هذا الإرث العريق في الذهن العُماني.

abstract

The research aimed to monitor the general characteristics of heritage houses in the cities of Muscat and Salalah in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, to reveal the most prominent architectural landmarks in the cities of Muscat and Salalah, and to show the most famous heritage houses and royal palaces. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive historical method was adopted.
The most prominent results showed the general features of heritage houses in the cities of Muscat and Salalah in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, represented in the size of the house, the shape of the rooms, the nature of the building materials, and others. The most prominent recommendations showed the need to highlight the general features of heritage houses throughout the Sultanate of Oman by conducting programs, meetings, and forums to promote the sustainability of this ancient heritage in the Omani mind.
